In tutorial 6.3 we discussed the eight special algebraic identities. Are they true for any number you choose to insert to replace variables or are they true only for some numbers?

How many values can you insert in the place of x in the equations 0x = 0 and 1x = x? What about the equation 0x = 6? How many possible roots do they have?
